THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT MUSICS
          Different Times, Different Music Genres
When Rock and Roll come n the World Music International, slow pop music of various genres are still rare, even yet melodic guitar screeches games like Elvis songs, etc. from Rock and Roll was later developed into the era Rolling Stones. Playing on the guitar melodies are still used in the band Slash G'N Roses (1990). Even exhibited band Metallica, one of the world's pioneers metal band. The point is the development of music afterwards though not pure Rock And Roll, is also relying on a beautiful guitar melodies. In conclusion the average flow of the music there are forwarded 1970-1980 era (various genres).
In the music industry at that time (1970) Pop music is the most powerful, but the Rock and Roll is not extinct. Especially pop music "Golden Era” (era emas), in this era characterized many names / the world’s top bands like Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Janis Joplin, Carole King, Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Elton John, John Denver, Cher, Barbra Streisand, Olivia Newton-John, John Lennon, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, The Jackson 5, The Guess Who, The Carpenters, Eagles (band), Bee Gees, The Four Seasons, Chicago (Band), etc.
The famous names have worked issued single hits from the music flow. This period is arguably the golden era because Rock and Roll "Booming" in 1965, it influenced the development of the previous music to the music varied and it is undeniable that Rock and Roll brings world music into a new kind of music, and later evolved.
Similarly to the music world in this era, there is a trend that shifted and all be the same. But this trend is not Rock and Roll again but music types Dance Pop, R & B, Disco Rock, Pop Rock, etc. The same sample of the song in 2014 is: Katy Perry featuring Juicy J - Dark Horse; Pharrell Williams – Happy; Magic – Rude; Taylor Swift - Shake It Off.
And it seems to flow same music in 2014, followed by the other singer. They are no longer "Pure Pop" (pop murni) but the element of dance. This same is called "Trends".
Just to know, in the "Industry Trends" is a term (as required), "follow the other it should be". As time Elvis booming, collared shirt, leather jacket, shiny hair, followed by a variety of singers (though not similar). There is also a follow sake boost their popularity and it occurs naturally in the music.
Examples woman singer in this era, Beyonce has known because look Sexy, and the others follow. Is not the art of music is free huh? Supposedly for the sake of "Creativity" little different to create a "new style" highly obliged.
Creating Trends can be favorites many people.
Examples of existing ones, has given us the knowledge of trends and tastes Music can be enjoyed many people around the world. Do you know? The song “Wind Of Change” by Scorpion 1990s coincided moment "Berlin Wall Collapses". He said the song is favored politicians, both American and foreign. People associate this song with a song of peace, but it's not. And the song belongs to “Zombies” by Cranberries favored by the Bosnian Serb forces massacred, Balkan war in 1994.
Conclusion enormity of the first American music fitting launch and release, preferably a layer of music lovers the world. Many people sing together, have an album together, not like now, (for example) Katy Perry song release, only a few people who know. Just a little bit right?
Let the gold trend occurred in the past. does not mean that the trend has been lost in the present, must change, who knows how many years. To set the trend again, it took similarity flow in various walks of life, plus the incredible popularity.
There may be some of you who think that the former musician were better or more powerful than musicians in this era. But I disagree with them. How come? Yes I Do. For me, musicians in this era are relatively better and more powerful than old musicians. Why?
In my logic, from the day to day, of course, the number of songs that created are increase.  And also the musical arrangement. Surely, today the number of songs and musical works are more than 10 years or 20 years ago. Agree?
Just imagine! Now there are approximately 1 million songs, or 1 million piece of music that is created (from ancient times to the present). It may even be far more than it.
Therefore For that reason, the challenge of the musicians in this era is more difficult than the musicians in the past. Yeah, you can say it when 20 years ago or earlier times. Musicians in this era must to be extra creative and extra rack their brain to create musical works that are approximately worthy considered original. If it same although a little voice or bar of songs that have previously existed, might be considered PLAGIAT.
That’s mostly often experienced by the musicians nowadays. An accusation of plagiarism is rarely stopped to them. Though they may not know the original song that is considered similar to a song or their work. Okay, if they already know the original song or they ever heard the original song, but I still applaud on their creativity (which although a little cheating tone / rhythm song that has already exist), they still can pack it into something new (not 100% same with the original works).
That is creativity, right?
But what if the degrees of similarity in their tracks close to 100% with the original song? I do not really care about it. For me, as a lover of music, the important of the song is good or fun for me. I do not care about plagiarism. That's their business as a musician, song writer and musical arranger.
Why should I bother to take care of it?
Talk about the songs that are similar to each other (but not exactly), I give you an example of a song “Malu-malu Mau” (Super Girlies) and Rival (Berryz Kobo). If you listen carefully, both songs are indeed quite similar. The difference is only in the language in the lyrics and a little musical arranger. Diatribe about plagiarism was directed at the girl band Super Girlies are considered imitate one of that Japanese song. Including the Japanese concept that promote by that Indonesian girl band.
I do not care about that plagiarism issue. For me, the important thing is that song is make me fun. In fact, I applaud for the songwriter “Malu-malu Mau” and musical arranger. Their works is good for me to be listened as a music lover. I don’t care if they are considered cheating song from the Japanese. So that, when I respond to problems similarities between the song “Best Friend Forever” (Cherry Belle) with the song “Kissing You” (SNSD).
If I am a musician (arranger or composer of music), I think I can not necessarily generate or create works that are 100% original. Today is different from 10 or 20 years ago. If there are musicians who deliberately imitate or cheat some part or tone (from another song that was already there), for me it does not matter. The important thing is they keep trying mixes into something fresh or new. That's where the challenge. Their creativity was tested in there.
Plagiarism considered creative?
For me, plagiarism is when we emulate a 100% without modification or development. So, if there are musicians who deliberately imitate partial tones, bar, as well as the rhythm of the song that was first there, they are not plagiarism. Especially if they can produce new works better than the original song that they made as a source of inspiration. More good example of the musical arrangements, lyrics, dynamic tone, harmonization of transfer between parts, and so on.
I salute to the musicians who are able to mix many songs to be new song / new work that fresh or different. For example, when they take some notes / rhythms of (for example) 5 different songs, and then they potion into a fresh new compositions. Example one of band in Indonesia, which often combining several songs is Teamlo.
It could be, it is not an easy thing for the musicians. One might assume that there is absolutely no challenge when we want to take a "shortcut" to deliberately cheat partly tone / rhythm song that already exist. My opinion is just the opposite. The challenge is much greater, especially in order to how a song or music produced will be better or have a different flavor from the original song (which is used as inspiration).
Come back again to the fact that even today the number of songs that are increasing. Challenges of musicians in this era are more difficult than long time ago. However, I strongly applaud the musicians who can produce original works in this era.
Anyway, in conclusion... . .
For us as music lovers, try to position ourselves as musicians. Should not be too easy to label plagiarism on musicians. We may assume that create a song / original work was easy. But we may never feel how hard creating new works really fresh or did not have the slightest thing in common with the work that has already exist.
If it can, the next hard challenge is how to keep the weight of the work can be good to be heard or be liked by music lovers. My question, are you are able to produce works of music are 100% original and fun to be heard by others? If you like to sue others to produce original work, you also should be free of elements of plagiarism.
Did you could do that?
